Overview
The Peplink B One 5G is a dual-WAN router with a built-in 5G cellular modem, designed for branch offices, retail locations, small businesses, and homes that need instant, high-speed cellular backup or a primary fixed-wireless connection. It supports both eSIM and physical SIM cards, with US carrier certifications for AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and FirstNet.
The 5G modem — built on a Qualcomm Snapdragon X62 chipset — delivers seamless failover between wired WAN (cable, fibre) and 5G, and can bond with Starlink or Fixed Wireless Access services via SpeedFusion for a single, more reliable connection. Simultaneous dual-band Wi-Fi 6 covers client devices for up to 150 recommended users.

Throughput
The B One 5G is rated for 1 Gbps router throughput, with 200 Mbps throughput over encrypted (SpeedFusion) connections. The 5G modem supports up to 3.5 Gbps download / 900 Mbps upload at the modem level, subject to carrier network and signal conditions.
