Overview
The Peplink Balance 310 is a pure multi-WAN Ethernet/fibre router with no cellular modem or Wi-Fi radio — unlike most other Balance Series models, this is a dedicated wired SD-WAN core for sites where wired bandwidth, not cellular backup, is the priority. Its 2.5GbE WAN and 10GbE LAN ports make it well suited for data-heavy environments needing high-throughput multi-WAN bonding.

Recommended for
- Data-heavy branch sites — 10GbE LAN ports support high-throughput internal networks
- Fibre/Ethernet-first deployments — sites with reliable wired WAN that don’t need cellular backup
- Enterprise cores — a dedicated wired SD-WAN router where cellular isn’t part of the connectivity plan
- Edge computing use cases — Docker support enables lightweight apps or automation to run directly on the router
