Overview
The MAX HD4 MBX in its Global LTE-A Pro configuration is built for UK emergency services, public safety fleets and other mission-critical mobile deployments. Four embedded LTE-A Pro modems, each with redundant SIM slots, deliver up to 2 Gbps downlink per modem, and SpeedFusion bonds them into one connection with hot failover and WAN smoothing. The modular design supports swappable cellular modules, giving a path to 5G.
It offers 2x Gigabit Ethernet WAN plus 1x GE WAN/LAN, 2x USB WAN, dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (Wi-Fi WAN and/or AP), a 9-port Gigabit LAN switch with up to eight 802.3at PoE outputs, ignition sensing and a 12–56V DC input. It uses 16x QMA cellular connectors; Wi-Fi and GPS antennas are supplied, cellular antennas are not included.
