Overview
Overview
Many sites still have a DSL line available, and the FlexModule Mini 1x VDSL Module lets a Balance X router terminate it directly instead of relying on a separate ISP modem in bridge mode. The line becomes one more WAN in the router, ready for load balancing, failover and SpeedFusion alongside fibre, Ethernet and cellular links.
The module fits the FlexModule Mini expansion bay and connects to the phone line through a single RJ11 port with a status LED. Removing the extra modem from the cabinet simplifies the install and keeps the WAN under one management interface in InControl 2.
